extremes from minus 100°C to +1,000°C, acids, solvents,
abrasion, pressure, weathering and steam. These are just some of the
label solutions engineered by inotec for many of the World's
leading companies including IBM, Sony, Lufthansa, Panasonic, Siemen's,

Dexion, Carlsberg, CLB, etc.
Selecting the right label
Depends mainly on the application and environment in which the label
will be used
To select the correct face material;
We need to know if the label is subjected to;
- Chemicals - if so which acids,
alkalis, solvents?
- Water, if so for how long at at what
temperature?
- Abrasion, how much for how long?
- Heat, what amount what pattern?
- Steam or water?
- Repeated contact scanning, for how
long?
- UV (Outdoor) exposure.
- Is the label to be permanent,
tamperproof or removable?
- Will it be placed on a flat curved
or uneven surface?
- How will the label be
scanned and from what distance?
To
select the correct adhesive;
To select the correct adhesive;
- Is the application
permanent or temporary?
- Is the surface to be
adhered to;
- Oily, dusty, unstable,
- A rough, uneven or
curved surface?
- Plastic, if so what
kind? (Many plastics and materials such as galvanised steel can be
damaged by using a badly matched adhesive.)
- Will the label be
subject to shock or vibration?
- Will chemicals or
solvents come into contact with the adhesive?
- What is the temperature
at application and in service?
- What is the expected
life of the label?
These are just some of the questions
which warrant investigation before designing and recommending a label
system.

Using carefully matched components to meet your application and
environment needs, we can use thermal transfer, laser or high
definition laser based photo-composition methods to provide the ideal
label. Using photo-composed labels, we can even match a label to your
scanner for the highest first time read rates in the industry.
Materials available include papers, plastics, metal and ceramic
materials complete with a recommended fixing method.
Materials & Ribbons.
